An experienced Consultant Neurosurgeon, and Medical Leadership advocate, I have extensive experience of working in complex healthcare organisations. I have an established history of working in the NHS & Independent Sector as well as in advisory roles to the healthcare industry, surgical professional and medical regulatory bodies. I have a keen interest in Organisational Culture, Professional Identification and Transformational Healthcare. In particular I have a focus on legitimacy and reputation of healthcare organisations and the rebuilding of individuals and departments that have become stigmatised so they can regain trust and deliver meaningful and beneficial healthcare. I develop Clinical Leadership and Medical Management individuals and teams, working in partnership on strategies that complement professional activities in highly regulated healthcare environments, in particular surgical and interventional settings where high performance and high reliability are essential requirements.
